Ever since we bought the RV, I noticed a clanking noise in the front end every time we were driving on a rough road. Most of the time, we’ve been parked and I don’t worry about it, but finally when we were in Colorado, I crawled underneath to see what I could see. Come to find out, the problem was quite clear. The sway bar end link bushings were pretty much deteriorated and some were even gone completely.
When we arrived in Missouri, I went to Springfield’s Freightliner dealer to see if I could find the bushings. To my surprise, and theirs too, they had the bushings in stock. All eight of them were under $10. What a deal!
Now installed, the clanking is gone and the ride to Alabama was so much quieter.
