Last night we had a beautiful sunset over the Sutherland Reservoir.

Woke up to the sunrise but we’re in a different time zone. Temps were rather warm overnight till about 4 am. Then I put a cover on and turned off the fans. Temperature only got down to 61° overnight.

We packed up and took the backroads to North Platte, Nebraska to a Hobby Lobby. Gayla needed to get some blue yarn for a project.

We also needed to fill up on some water while in town as well.

After resupplying the water we stopped at The Quilt Rack and Wool Cubby in North Platte. I ended up getting some wools there for a project. Gayla walked out empty handed.

To continue our touring day we stopped at Buffalo Bill’s Ranch and Home. That was quite the experience. I recommend it if you’re in the area.

Then we were off to Fort Cody Trading Post. Neat tourist trap and historic items in there. Oh and a two headed cow.

Stopped by a Mail Drop on the way out of town.

It hit 95° today. Yuck.

A friend of ours recommended that we go stay at Potters Pasture south of Brady, Nebraska. We set course for there.

They have two camps. Old camp and new camp. We pulled in the new camp. When signing in Paul one of the trail caretakers greeted us. It’s a beautiful area. Plenty of shade. They do have water and hookups if need. Paul even brought us a picnic table to sit on at our campsite. I would come and stay here again.

Potter’s Pasture is getting ready for their big mountain bike race in October. There are hills in Nebraska.
