I woke up at 4:58 AM. Listened to a podcast for an hour till Gayla woke up.
Gayla made coffee and we got this day started.
Today was is her last day in class. She’s all sorts of excited about it after yesterday.
After dropping Gayla off at class the dogs and I took a trip down to Douglas State Fishing Lake.
We looked around here for a bit. We’re were here back in August of 2022 so it’s been a while.
I called up a pal and went and visited him for the afternoon at least until Gayla was ready to be picked up. Thanks for the conversation Tutall and Mrs. Tutall!!!
I fueled up in Baldwin City, Kansas before heading back to Lawrence to pick up Gayla. I had a young kid about 9-10 years old come running around the corner while I was fueling up Clifford. He just kinda stood there and said “Hey, What’s up?”
I said “just fueling up!”
He said “what is this thing?”
I said “It’s our house!”
He said “No Way!!!”
Then he left.
I then picked up Gayla and we boogied off to Springfield, Missouri.
We arrived at the house about 10:30PM.
It was a great trip overall.
Oh and today is me and Gayla’s anniversary of the day we met 19 years ago. Time flies.
