We woke up to the sound of gunshots. Luckily they were down the hill at the shooting range and not nearby.

Gayla made coffee while I got ready for the day. She had a few Zoom meetings today with clients.

While she was zooming it up I did some leather work on my bark tan pouch I’ve been working on.

I did notice that it was sunny and snowing at the same time today. It was only little bit of flurries thought.

Today was an okay day for solar nothing spectacular. The main thing is since I rerouted the cooling fans to come on for the charge controller, it really hasn’t overheated today. So that’s a small win.

Called my brother to figure out some settings on my laptop to start talking to my radio. As far as I know everything is in working order for WSJT-X for FT8. I did a quick activation of this POTA park US-5439. They did change the prefix of the park designation letters since last week. Everything is US instead of K. I had 18 confirmed contacts.

I walked the dogs around the loop while Gayla cooked some supper. She made a version of a cheeseburger casserole in a skillet with a side of avocado. Mmm mmm. Something different on the pallet.

After supper and doing the dishes Gayla did some things for work. I’m gonna call it an early night.
