After a good night’s sleep we awoke to find a crisp cold morning of 25° F outside. BUT it is sunny today. Things are looking up for solar power.
Today was the day to get my laptop computer back up and running again with all my apps and folders working properly. It’s like moving into a new one with a few things still there.
Gayla has a few zoom meetings today. She also finished up a podcast episode.
had to take the dogs out for a stroll around. It was pretty bitter windchill all day. Although it was sunny outside.
Did have a high temperature warning on the solar charge controller for a while. It was charging above 720 watts on the roof out of 800 watts up there. Which is a touch of 50 amps of charge. I turned on the cooling fans to the battery box that I built and it cooled down. It only seems to overheat when the solar charging is upwards of 650 watts or more for a long time period. Oh well, I built it and I can fix it.
I did some leather work in the afternoon. Some work on a flap for a bag and finish up a ball pouch. Wasn’t in no hurry at 10 spi.
Only had a few vehicles drive through the campground today.
Had cooked some Chorizo with onions and cheese with a side of bacon and avocados for supper. That was different and tasty.
After supper we just kinda sat around and did nothing for a bit.
Gayla had another zoom networking meeting at 7 pm local time here in Ohio.
While she did her meeting I did editing of pictures from the Kalamazoo Living History Show from last weekend.
All in all it was a good day to charge batteries and work.
