Still not used to the DLST yet. But I did get up earlier.
We knew that rain was gonna happen today and our batteries are getting low because of not having enough sunshine on them the last several days. Thank goodness for DC-DC charging we installed to charge our batteries while the engine is running. 30 amps of DC-DC charging is better than the .50 amps from the solar panels today.
Gayla had a phone call with a client this late morning. We had a snack about 12:30pm. Gayla did a bit more of work then took a break about 2pm.
She did some weaving on the big inkle for a while. She actually finished her inkle project just as the rain let up a bit. So we let the dogs out for a bit. They seem to know when it’s raining outside.
I cooked up some Delmonico steaks and a ribeye steak the thinly sliced it to put on our salad and with our goat cheese avocados. Now that was a tasty meal.
We packed away the ground deployment solar since it wasn’t raining just to be more prepared for our travel day tomorrow morning.
Dogs ate supper and went back to sleep.
Gayla was warping up the little inkle to make another strap.
