Got up early today. This time change still is my nemesis.
Gayla had a few video calls today on zoom.
While she was videoing it up, I had finished up stitching the holster repair I’d been working on.
About noontime we took the dogs out for a 3/4 mile walk down the road. Then had a snack about 1pm.
While Gayla finished up with a few zoom meetings in the afternoon, I did a little sketch of the Pere Marquette River and the surrounding area in ink and watercolor. Oscar sat outside with me in the sunshine since it was in the mid 60°’s.
I’d done some research on why our Renogy Battery monitor never shows a “positive” of solar power coming in. We needed to move one wire to the P- side of the battery shunt. After doing that it works like it should. Showing a positive charge of solar energy above and beyond of what we’d been using. I call that a win.
Gayla and I sat in the sunshine for a while. She did some weaving while the dogs soaked up the sun.
We had just fed the dogs and put up their food when a forest ranger arrived. The first words out of his mouth were “ I ain’t gonna lie. I just wanted to see your rig. I proceeded to tell him all about Clifford and his backstory. He gave us a map of the area and told us a little history too.
We were getting super so we cooked up some marinated steaks we had sitting overnight. They were delicious.
Gayla had one more late evening zoom meeting with a networking group. I evidently had taken a nap.
After her meeting she finished up her weaving she’d been working on. It’s a nice 3/4” strap.
Tomorrow is a new day.
