Started off with the dang time change and snow. I’m not a fan of the time change so snow makes things better. Windchill is 15°F

We packed up slowly and wanted/needed to do laundry before we start our work week. The closest town was 13.1 miles away from our location. Baldwin, Michigan had a coin operated car wash/laundry/ tanning place! It sounded unique so off we go.

After laundry we went to the local Safe-Way supermarket to stock up on groceries for the week. While in the checkout line, the cashier was curious about what our vehicle was used for. She thought it was a storm chasing vehicle. We told her that Clifford is our home on wheels.

After grocery shopping we stopped and topped off our fuel and filled up the diesel heater tank too.

We found a free campground along the Pere Marquette River. Only 12 spots along here available at the Sulak National Forest Campground. No amenities other than a vault toilet and views. It is also situated on the North County National Scenic Trail that runs 4,800 miles from Vermont to North Dakota through 8 states.

Took a hike in the afternoon to see the river and hike part of the North Country National Scenic Trail.

It was a beautiful day out with the blue skies and sunshine and snow. We kinda relaxed in the evening. Gayla did some more weaving on the big inkle. Dogs called it an early night and went to sleep.
