Day – 9

We woke up really early and let the dogs out and made coffee and on the road by 7:44 AM.

Left Blackwell Horse Camp and went hwy 446 towards Bloomington, Indiana. Made our way through Martinsville and Indianapolis. We stopped for fuel and let the dogs stretch their legs on the north side of Kokomo, Indiana.

We trudged through South Bend, Indiana up into Michigan. We stayed on hwy 31 north all the way to just outside of Muskegon, Michigan.

Took hwy 120 through Twin Lakes and kept going to Hesperia, Michigan.

We ended up in the Manistee National Forest down road 5396. Found us a little pull off to spend the night.

It was spitting snow flurries when we got here. Not supposed to be much at all. Windchill is in the mid teens at the moment of this post.

Absolutely no cell service here, so this post is brought to you by Starlink.

I activated K-4583 POTA park here in the forest. Had 21 contacts and the last one was to Spain on 10w.

Gayla warped up both inkles this evening and started weaving again.

382.43 – miles driven today.
