While staying at Cape Hatteras National Seashore’s Ocracoke Campground, we would often walk over the sand dunes behind our camping spot and meander on the beach. One evening, we went out with the dogs. They went absolutely crazy! They wanted to get their little paws on all the ghost crabs. That evening we didn’t have very much fun trying to keep the dogs calm.
We went out again the next night (without the dogs) to watch the crabs feed in the moonlight. We had such a fun time. It was a real treat that some of them would actually stay still long enough to catch some cool pics.
