Although we like our Alfa, after living in it for a while, we find ourselves wanting to do a few personal touches here and there. One thing that we’ve changed recently has been our bathroom faucet. There wasn’t anything wrong with the original one, except we didn’t care for the style. We had been on the lookout of what style we may like, at the price we wanted to pay. One evening at Home Depot, we came across a faucet that suited us well.
Changing out the faucet wasn’t too big of a deal. We had to remove the bathroom to get to the pipes. We found that the fittings were slightly too short, so we purchased extenders and all went together fine. We don’t really care for the gold plated trimming that is everywhere in the Alfa, so we began changing out the drawer handle pulls with ones that matches our new faucet. There are over 60 drawer handle pulls, so we’ll simply replace them a little at a time, as budget allows. Our goal is to remove all the gold accents, but we’ll see how that goes.
