Woke up to 36° with a windchill of 31°. Didn’t feel that cold. Maybe we’re getting acclimated to it!

Gayla has a light work day. We had coffee and talked about what we wanted to accomplish today.

I wanted to work on leather work but I had a podcast to edit for a client first.

After podcast editing was done I worked on a leather project that I started back in late March of this year.

Gayla and I walked the dogs around camp for a bit this afternoon.

I continued with my leather project and Gayla finished up her last call about 5:30 pm local time.

We started packing up because tomorrow is a travel day for us.

Then we got a wild hair and decided to go to Little Soda Lake. It was only 8/10 of a mile away from where we were.

we started that way on the forest road then the ruts got rutty. Then the dips got dippy. The 3/4 the way there is where I called it. Needed to back up so I can turnaround.

Gayla did a fabulous job guiding me backwards to a good spot for turning around.

Clifford did great in low range two wheel drive.

We decided to drive around the big Soda Lake to checkout some other campsites for just one night. We ended right down on the waterfront.

I setup Starlink and Gayla got to work again. She has an early morning video call then after that we’re heading south.

6.7 miles driven today.
