Woke up to a warm 61° inside Clifford. We slept with the windows open and the ceiling fan open.

Gayla made coffee and snuck some carmel sauce in there. We packed up and left camp by 7 AM.

Made our way to Alpine, Wyoming and took the hwy 26/89 along the Snake River. That was a beautiful drive.

Stopped at Astoria Boat Ramp along the Snake River.

Also stopped at Hoback Junction at their market. Picked up some huckleberry ice cream.

Made our way down to Pinedale, Wyoming. We fueled up at the Sinclair station. Clifford got 10.941 mpg’s.

After fueling up we headed towards Soda Lake Wildlife Management Area to find us a campsite for the night. We’d been here before but never stayed here. After looking at the map we decided to keep going up the forest road and check out Willow lake.

We traveled as far as you can go on the forest road. On our way back we spotted a campsite that we wanted to stay at for the night. It’s right next to the water and surrounded by small Aspen trees.

I cooked up some bacon wrapped turkey filets for lunch and Gayla did some weaving on her inkle.

After lunch I activated the Bridger-Teton National Forest park for POTA US-4535. Had 14 contacts on 3 different bands in about 45 minutes.

I checked out everything underneath Clifford and lubed up the driveline. Everything seems to be fine at this time.

We walked the dogs a bit further down the road to see what was down there. We jumped up three mule deer. A mama and two with spots still on them.

We walked back to Clifford before the storm hit. It could be a fun ride getting out of here tomorrow if it’s still soggy.
