Woke up to 48° inside of Clifford. Not terrible at 6:15 AM.

Gayla proceeded to make coffee and we packed up and slowly made our way outta camp by 7:07 AM.

We took it nice a slow on our way out of here. It took 1.5 hours to go the 12.5 miles back to Sheridan, Montana.

Pointed Clifford towards Ennis, MT. We needed a bit of groceries and fuel before departing southbound.

We crossed into Idaho and the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.

We’ve been here before almost two years ago.

There were a few more places around here I wanted to explore a bit more.

Gayla made us a salad and some raspberries and pineapple and blueberries for lunch. Something different on the pallet.

We walked the dogs up the road a bit to explore around. Found a few more campsites. Had a few water crossings. Not bad for us but the dogs got wet.

I set up my HF radio station and activated a new park to me. US-4475 Caribou-Targhee National Forest. I actually had a contact with my brother Earl back in Springfield, Mo. 1000+ miles away.

Gayla did some computer work outside next to the babbling brook.

It was a nice short day of driving and relaxing and exploring.
