Woke to 43°F at Maiden Rock campground. It was a free campground that is fairly new. Fire pits ain’t even been used yet. Sites were pretty level too. Next to a river for fishing access.
Gayla made us some coffee and we were off from camp by 7:29 AM headed towards Dillon, MT. After Dillon was Twin Bridges, MT where we had a pit stop at the park across from the fairgrounds. It’s a very nice area.
Bozeman has an antique store we always stop at when we are in the area. We spent about an hour in the before getting back on the road. Fueled up at Four Corners before getting out of town. Gayla somehow found a Carmel long John in there and a huckleberry soda. Clifford got 9.904 mpg’s. Not bad considering we were in 4wd and low range most the day yesterday.
We arrived at Revenue Flats Dispersed Camping about 3:20 pm. We have been here before back in 2022. It’s close to Ennis, MT. but far enough away from everyone else.
