We woke and got ready to make a slow trip into Fort Bridger, Wyoming for the 51st annual rendezvous.

Gayla needed to stop by the post office and drop off some mail. Also needed some groceries for the weekend.

After our errands were done we found us a place to park for the weekend. It wasn’t great but it would make do.

Upon arriving we transitioned to our early 1800’s clothes.

The dogs got to enjoy their 2nd rendezvous in 2 weeks. They were so well behaved.

We met up with Lynn, Chanman, Rio and Raini at their camp.

Friday seemed a bit slower crowd wise than last few years. Saturday was the big day attendance. Sunday had a decent crowd and Monday was ok.

Lynn had a trade blanket set out. I threw out some pouches. Sold a few. Even met up with Hubert from back in Missouri. He made it out It was his first time out here.

The food was great over the whole weekend. We seen a lot of friends and made a few new ones too.

The event was over on Monday afternoon but we stayed over till Tuesday morning.

After the event it was time for laundry. We made our way to Lyman, Wyoming and stopped at Main Street Laundry.

When the laundry was finished we needed fuel before heading to the mountains for our work week. We stopped in Mountain View, Wyoming to fill up.

Made our way through the badlands to Burntfork and stopped to let the dogs out and had a snack.

About 2 miles east of Burntfork we turned south towards the Ashley National Forest and found us a camp at 8660 feet in elevation that will do for the next few days.

We had ourselves a short nap. Then we walked the dogs about 2 miles.

There was an atv trail that circled back around to the main road and back to camp.

While walking we jumped up a couple of elk. The dogs wondered what all the noise was.
