Woke up thinking that today was going to be a travel day but I was wrong. It was a good day to sit still and enjoy the dreary weather and get some things done and caught up.
Gayla worked on client projects and I worked on a leather pattern for an upcoming project.
We had some snow flurries and some sleet and rain. And to top it all off we had a bit of sunshine too. So we had all four seasons in one day.
We took a break and decided to walk up the hill to check things out. There’s a fire ring and a picnic table next to a very small pond up there with just enough room for a couple of tents.
Gayla warped up her big inkle to do a new weaving on. I must say I really like the pattern and colors she is using on kit. Very lovely.
I did just find out that there was an earthquake only 102 miles east of us yesterday. Obviously I don’t watch the news. We also didn’t feel anything from the earthquake. Evidently the biggest earthquake in this area since the 1880’s.
I had setup a mini solar farm behind Clifford to test out some things today. I was using the solar power to charge the EcoFlow Delta 2 portable power station. We ran the Starlink solely off of this power station all day. I must say it is nice to have options. Total solar is 1220 watts of available solar power.
We did take a break and walked the dogs up the road a bit. They weren’t having it because they are not fans of chilly weather. Luckily for them we let them sleep next to the heater vents.
I did some checking of the fluids since it has been a while. I also did some greasing of the driveline and u-joints.
Gayla had a good day of catching up on work. I feel accomplished and the dog’s belly’s are full.
