Gayla and I wanted to stay still for a day in this area.

When I think about West Virginia I don’t think about semi marshy lands with coniferous trees. That’s what this part of the Monongahela National Forest looks like just south of Davis, West Virginia.

Gayla did some catching up on business stuff. I did some podcast editing for some clients.

We also had a day of finger weaving. Gayla started the diagonal pattern and I worked on the Chevron pattern. This time with even smaller cotton yarn. It’s getting better with time.

We warmed up some steaks for lunch. Walked the dogs and checked on the tadpoles across the road.

Had a pretty lazy afternoon. Temperature got up to about 72° outside with a few sprinkles here and there.

0 – miles driven today.
