Left the families house about 8:55 AM and made our way to I-70 westbound out of Odenton, Maryland. Set our sights on Fort Frederick Market Fair to spend the day.
We arrived at Fort Frederick at 11:46 AM. We walked around the whole area twice. Lots of people and vendors. Of course this was opening day. Still a few more vendors and camps to be setup after hours.
So many talented artists here. I am glad we stopped by and got visit with them. When you are only there for an afternoon it’s hard to get all the visiting done.
We left the Fort just after 5:30 pm. Had to stop and fuel up in Big Pool, Maryland. Clifford got 10.0 mpg’s. Not too bad for 12k pounds and stop and go traffic for a bit. we haven’t field up since Gettysburg so it’s been a while.
Headed towards Squirrel Gap Rd. We’ve been here before about a month ago. It was fairly close by and we knew what it was like to camp there. Arrived here at 7:30pm.
Gayla made a phone call and I walked the dogs for a bit. Then she did some crocheting on a project.
