We woke up early today to get started on our Gettysburg Auto Tour. We left our camp at 8:10 AM and headed into town.
We are only 11 miles away from town but it a beautiful drive from the Michaux State Forest to town.
We started our self guided tour at 8:45 AM. There is a bunch of stops and it’s a very well laid out route and well marked route. Gayla downloaded the National Park app and it shows our location on the map with all the stops and amenities if there is any.
We ended our tour about 4:00 pm. Clifford needed fuel and Gayla needed some supplies for Lucy at Walmart.
Got back to our campsite at Teaberry Dispersed Camping Area at 6:00 pm.
It is well worth the drive if you’re in the area and not in too big of a hurry or need to something to do.
