We have been looking forward to our newest adventure for the past several months. The time finally arrived about 20 days earlier than planned.
As of August 11, 2020, we have graduated into the adventure of grandparenthood. In this episode, we share how we dropped everything and pushed up our trip to Colorado to be with our daughter, son-in-law, and new grandbaby by the time they arrived home from the hospital.
We were already preparing for our trip, so we were partly packed. Our original plan was to depart from Missouri to head to Colorado on August 19. Then we got the call that the kids were headed to the hospital for an early delivery, we hopped in the car and were on our way.
There were still trips to Creston, Iowa, and Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Listen how we split efforts and were able to get to all the places we needed to be.
