After our soggy time at Overland Expo East outside of Asheville, we headed toward our third AirBNB retreat. We wanted some time to dry out, shower, catch up on some work projects…and did I mention shower?
After a few nights in our little cabin, we headed to the Chattahoochee National Forest for more adventures. We ended up spending our coldest night in the tent…10°F!
We made our way toward Stevenson, AL where we found free camping at Racoon Creek Wildlife Management Area.
The next day, since we were in the neighborhood, we couldn’t resist stopping at the Unclaimed Baggage Store. Then we had our last night of the trip at Merriweather Lewis Campground and prepare for our longest travel day of the trip.
