Woke up to frost on the vehicle and ground. According to our inside thermometer it got down to 34° inside Clifford. Gayla turned on the diesel heater and brought it up to a balmy 65° inside Clifford. The diesel heater works great now that we worked out the kinks.

After coffee and letting the dogs out I checked the fluids in Clifford and prepared for departure.

There was another place nearby that we wanted to check out for camping possibilities for tonight. Gore Landing just north of Gore, Oklahoma.

After the initial drive by it has potential for us to stay there. It is open.

We then made our way to Fort Gibson, Oklahoma to see Fort Gibson. We had arrived about 6 minutes early so Gayla made a second round of coffee.

After we had our coffee at Fort Gibson we let the dogs out and then we went inside. We were greeted by Barbara the gift shop worker there. She was very, very knowledgeable about the fort and surrounding area.

We loaded up and took a short drive to the stockade area. It was pretty neat that they rebuilt some of it in the 1930’s.

I activated the park on Ham Radio. US-6338 on the parks on the air. I quickly got my minimum of 10 contacts for it to be activated. I ended up with 12 contacts and no duplicates.

Gayla was getting hungry by now and she wanted a hamburger and fries so we pa led up and found a Braum’s in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

After supper was enjoyed we headed back to Summers Ferry Park for the evening. We let the dogs out and settled in.
